Thursday @ Flips. Sunday @ Whip In.
Apr 23rd, 2009 Posted in Miscellany | no comment »Good day, y’all. After a week off, I return with two fine shows this week. Matt the Electrician and I reunite for our last Thursday together at Flipnotics. There’s no drama here; we’re just moving to Wednesdays in May. You remember Wednesdays, right? We rocked Hump Day for five years over at Café Mundi. Come check out the Must See Non-TV tonight on Barton Springs!
Sunday night, I’ll play a special solo show at the Whip In Parlour Café. We visited this fine establishment a few weeks back, and I really dig it. The décor is wonderfully cozy, the food is tasty, you can stock up on adult beverages, and it smells all spiritual in there. I’ll bring all my toys and songs to make it a special show, as your donations will benefit the Groundwork Music Project. Beyond that, there’s no cover! Namaste, y’all.

In other news, I’m trying to spread my name via ads on Google, Yahoo, etc. Like most projects, I first found it stressful, then abandoned it, then returned, and finally figured out a way to make it fun. Turns out you can be quite creative with these ads, and no one seems to mind! Here are some I came up with this morning. Look for them to pop up on a computer screen near you.
