Earth Night at the Whip In! 8 pm.

Good morning. Happy Earth Day to you. I hope you take some time to celebrate the only orb within like a dozen light years crazy enough to support a nutty species like us. Here is a poem I would write for Mother Earth if I were still in elementary school and big into drugs:

Mother Earth has monkeys, three
One on ground and one in tree
The third is somewhere out at sea
But he writes occasionally

Mother Earth has wind to spare
Snatch some up to dry your hair
Sunshine drops for free all day
Add a panel where you stay

Earth is the ball we walk upon
Treat her well or we won’t last long
Stinky fumes and the atom bomb
Are rude to throw on sphere-ish Mom

In other news, check out some of my thoughts on Austin in Spike Gillespie’s Jet Blue blog. It’s always cool to be cyber-published, especially regarding one of my favorite subjects.

Of course, I continue my fun run of shows tonight at the Whip In. Bring $5 if you have it, and we’ll acoustically rock the night away.

Thanks for reading!
