Thanks to everyone who came out to the Cactus last week. I had a great time, and I managed to expand my personal record in the medley division to 35 minutes of non-stop music. I’ve never fallen down on stage, but I came pretty close after the half-hour mark. Luckily, the imagination of the audience held me aloft.

Before I truly relax and find myself for the remainder of August, I have one more fun show Tuesday night at Jo’s Downtown on 2nd St. It’s my first time to play there, and I look forward to performing my magical realist folk on such a snazzy block. Hey, they have sliders and $2 Lone Star tallboys all night! Wear comfortable clothes and park on the street for the wildest Tuesday night ride this side of Coney Island.
