I’ve enjoyed my little run of Thursdays at Strange Brew. I’ve confirmed that it is an excellent venue for the kind of music I do, and I intend to go out in style this week with a rare solo performance. No guests, no breaks, just this guy with this guitar and this keytar and these harmonicas and a hunger that only thirtysomethings can feel.

Please be aware. I’m playing with my ol’ pal Matt the Electrician tomorrow night at Strange Brew in South Austin! It’s Matt’s last Thursday night before he goes on the road. That’s the bad news.

The good news is I’m babysitting 3 Thursday nights for him while he’s away. I’ll play July 4 with my pal and classy crooner Brian Kremer. On July 11, I’ll be joined by the fabulous Raina Rose, still in the glow of her new release, Caldera. Finally, on July 18, I’ll present a special solo performance. It all happens at Strange Brew, and it starts tomorrow night!
